Rohan Teja Veeramachaneni is a highly motivated Full Stack Engineer with a passion for software development. He is currently pursuing his M.S. in Information Systems at Northeastern University, while also working as a Software Engineer at Freight Tiger. With over 3 years of relevant experience, Rohan has a strong background in software engineering, specializing in Java and the Spring framework, with Postgres for database. He is also well-versed in other programming languages such as C++, Python, and SQL server. Rohan is a quick learner who enjoys thinking out of the box, strategizing, and debating on different views and ideas. He loves working in a team and is always open to learning new technologies and practices. In addition to software development, Rohan has broad interests including the latest science and tech gadgets, debating on online forums, any novel that he can get his hands on, food, anime, fountain pens, and the stock market. Prior to joining Freight Tiger, Rohan worked as a Software Engineer at MoneyTap, a great startup company in the FinTech sector. During his time there, he gained valuable experience in backend software development, using Java and the Spring framework, with Postgres for database. He also developed self-assigned Data Science and Artificial Intelligence projects using Python and R. Rohan holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from IIT Goa, India. He also has a Higher Secondary School degree in Maths, Physics & Chemistry from Narayana Junior College, Hyderabad, and a Secondary School degree from Gowtham Concept School, Gudivada, and Delhi Public School, Hyderabad.
